Prospective / New Tenant Information

  1. Make sure to retain a copy of your tenancy agreement.
  2. Check that any deposits paid to your landlord are registered with a government-approved Tenancy Deposit Protection (TDP) scheme.
  3. Your landlord should inform you about council tax, water rates, and electricity supply (including any prepay meters).
  4. You, along with your landlord or letting agent, must inform the Sandown Court Management Company when you move in. Office Location: Room 244, Ground Floor, Block 2
  5. You will need to pay deposits to the Sandown Court Management Company for:
    • Keys
    • Fobs
    • In-house heating and hot water
  6. Parking facilities are available to rent, but there is currently a waiting list.
    • There is no visitor parking on the podium
    • The space there is for contractors and deliveries
    • Parking is available on the NCP Car Park (2 mins walk away)
    • Accessible car parking is available on the podium
  7. If any repairs are needed to your apartment or to fixtures such as the heat exchanger or thermostat, your landlord or letting agent should be your first point of contact.
