New Intercom Door Entry System for Block Two

We’ve recently upgraded to a brand-new Videx intercom system in Block 2, making visitor access and resident entry much smoother. If you’re wondering how it all works, here’s a simple step-by-step guide.

For Visitors

  1. Dial the apartment number – On the external keypad, enter the apartment number you wish to call.
  2. Wait for the call to connect – The system will ring the mobile or landline linked to that apartment.
  3. Speak with the resident – Visitors and residents can have a quick chat before access is granted.
  4. Gain entry – Once confirmed, the resident presses 3 on their phone keypad to release the door.

For Residents

  • No fob needed (once registered) – After registering, you can enter without your fob.
  • Save this number – Add 07511 607059 to your contacts.
  • Quick entry – When you call this number from your registered phone, it will ring twice before the door unlocks, giving you access.

  • Visitors can reach you directly on your phone, whether you’re home or not.
  • Easy, secure, and designed to make life in Block 2 that bit simpler.

ACTION REQUIRED: It is vitally important that every resident informs SCM of their telephone number(s).
